tribratanews.ntb.polri.go.id. – As the countdown to MotoGP Mandalika 2025 begins, the West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police (Polda NTB), in collaboration with the Department of Transportation, has announced a comprehensive traffic management and security plan to ensure a smooth flow of visitors heading to the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit.
Deputy Director of Traffic at Polda NTB, AKBP Leo Dedy, confirmed that traffic diversions and checkpoints will be implemented at three main access points: Bizam Roundabout (Zainuddin Abdul Majid International Airport), Songgong Roundabout, and Mong Roundabout.
“These measures were finalized during our coordination meeting on September 30, 2025, as part of our preparations to anticipate the surge in vehicles during the MotoGP weekend,” AKBP Leo explained.
Ticket-Based Traffic Routes
To avoid congestion, fans will be directed according to their ticket categories:
- Green ticket holders (Tribunes I-J-K) → directed via Sengkol – West Parking area.
- Red and Blue ticket holders → directed through the Bizam Bypass – Songgong Roundabout – East Parking area.
However, if the President or Vice President is scheduled to attend, the Bizam–Songgong bypass will be closed, and all traffic will be rerouted through Sengkol to ensure security and prevent heavy congestion.
Shuttle Bus Services for Spectators
Upon arrival in Mandalika, spectators will be dropped off at Nurul Bilad Mosque. From there, the organizing committee has arranged dedicated shuttle buses to transport fans directly to the circuit gates according to their ticket category.
“Security and traffic control are divided into three zones,” AKBP Leo added.
- Zone 3: Arrival routes from Bizam Airport and seaports (Lembar, Gili Mas, Kayangan, and Bangsal).
- Zone 2: Areas outside the Mandalika Special Economic Zone (SEZ).
- Zone 1: Inside the Mandalika Circuit area.
Coordinated Traffic Control
All traffic management strategies will be closely monitored by traffic officers in coordination with bus operators to ensure safety, prevent congestion, and maintain order.
“With this traffic arrangement, we are confident that the international MotoGP Mandalika 2025 will run successfully and smoothly,” concluded AKBP Leo.
