tribratanewsntb.polri.go.id – The East Lombok Police together with related agencies that are members of the Covid-19 Prevention Team have returned to carry out Operation Yustisi (Law Enforcement of the Covid 19 Health Protocol) at several locations in East Lombok Regency.
“This morning, Wednesday (13/01), activities started around 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. local time. The team carried out the operation in Selong City and several crowded locations and places, said the Head of the Lotim Police through the Head of Sub-Section of Public Relations when met at his office this afternoon.
He explained the Yustisi Operation which was led by the Head of Traffic and Police Heads in Each District, together with other Police Members who were assisted by related agencies such as the TNI, SatPol PP and other Covid-19 handling officers to routinely carry out Yustisi Operations.
Starting Tomorrow Fines for riders who do not apply the Health Protocol will be re-applied
“At the beginning of 2021, operations must be more tightened because the growth of people affected by the Covid-19 virus is still happening,” said the head of the Public Relations sub-section.
He also explained that the operational target in early 2021 was not only two-wheeled vehicles but four-wheeled vehicles that were also stopped for inspection. Not only the completeness of the health protocol, but also the vehicle documents were also checked, he explained.
While giving administrative sanctions and social warnings, officers also reminded motorists to always comply with health protocols such as always wearing masks, washing hands, maintaining distance and not crowding which is usually abbreviated as 3 M + 3T, (Tracing, Testing, Treatment) as important as the implementation of 3M behavior (using a mask, washing hands, keeping your distance). Both of these are efforts to break the chain of transmission of COVID-19. It’s just that the implementation of 3T practices still needs to be improved in understanding in the community, considering that the community is more familiar with 3M, whose campaign was carried out first and aggressively.
“We do this so that the transmission of Covid-19 does not grow significantly in NTB Province in general and in East Lombok in particular,” he concluded.
The Head of Lotim Police, through the Head of Public Relations, also emphasized and asked all people in Bumi Patuh Karya to always comply with health protocols. According to him, this will be useful to reduce the number of the spread of Covid – 19.
